Cost FAQs
How much does a medical marijuana card cost?
With MMJ Medics, an evaluation costs $49 to $199 for new patients and $35 to $169 for renewals, depending on your state. Use the price finder above for your exact price. Your state may also charge its own registration fee.
How do I use the KSAVE10 code?
Book your evaluation and enter KSAVE10 in the discount box at checkout. It takes 10% off the MMJ Medics evaluation fee for your state.
Do I pay if I’m not approved?
No. If the clinician decides medical cannabis isn’t appropriate for you, you aren’t charged for the visit.
Why are renewals cheaper?
Renewals are usually shorter because your clinician already has your history. You still need a new certification before your current one expires.
Does insurance cover the evaluation?
Health insurance generally doesn’t cover medical cannabis evaluations or state card fees, so plan to pay for the visit yourself.
